Science is a practical subject, teaching of which cannot be done properly only in theory form. For proper education of science, it is necessary to conduct various kinds of experimental works, which are practical in nature. Students learn to handle various apparatuses and think independently in the laboratory. It also develops the spirit of Team work. When students perform various kinds of experiments, they draw conclusions from their studies, which raises their level of self-confidence and develop scientific attitude among them.
Chemistry Lab: Chemistry lab is designed to support and illustrate chemical concepts as well as to introduce important laboratory techniques and encourage analytical thinking. Besides, the laboratory portion of the course will present some additional chemistry, both theoretical and practical. The laboratory is equipped with advanced instruments such as rotary shaker, magnetic stirrer, electric balance, etc.
Zoology Lab : Zoology lab at RBMI provides scientific study of the animal kingdom, along with its evolution, diversity and environment. It is well equipped with all necessary facilities. Some important practicals covered during the session are Dissection of Animal ,Permanent slide preparation, cytological experiments, Study of bones, pests, insects ,nematodes & edible fishes & parasites , counting of blood cells, study of ecosystem , immunology, biotechnology.
Botany lab : Botany lab at RBMI provides specimens, microscopes, permanent slides, latest method of physiological experiment, Genetics, section cutting of plants, demonstration, dissection etc. Botany lab is well equipped to perform various botany practical’s which are necessary for the study of the structure, properties, and biochemical processes of all forms of plant life, as well as plant classification, plant diseases, and the interactions of plants with their physical environment.
