B.Sc course covers the various fields of science like nutrition, health and growth measurements. It also involves various scientific problems that deal in the surroundings and in the environment. B.Sc home science offers many specializations and accordingly one can choose higher education option or find employment. Some of the specializations are nutrition, clothing, family relations, home management, child development, etc.
ELIGIBILITY:
The candidate should have at least 45% marks for General and OBC category and 40% marks for SC/ST category in any stream at 10+2 for admission in B.Sc. (Home Science).
ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
Admission will be done at the college level, based on 10+2 merit The college authorities have the Right to accept/reject any application of admission on any ground (s).

The multiple fields of Home Science include Resource Management, which was formerly mention and was very well known as Family Resource Management, Food Science and Nutrition, Human Development, Textile, Fabric and Garment Designing and Extension Education. Its scope is not limited only up to household activities of women but now even the men are getting attracted towards this field due to its diverse exposure.
