Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) is to contribute and fulfill the national need of specialized trained pharmaceutical man-power through prescribed teaching and training programme. Through this programme of post graduate in pharmacy the students will be educated, trained and inculcated to take research & development responsibilities of the country in large and of the world as whole.

The programme provides the professionals with sufficient knowledge and skills to understand the concept and design of various pharmaceutical dosage forms. The professional also having ability to develop and evaluate various novel drug delivery systems to fulfill the changing disease and patient’s need. The trained post graduates are very well prepared with knowledge of modern analytical techniques for research in formulation development.
Medicinal chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry are disciplines at the intersection of chemistry, especially synthetic organic chemistry, and pharmacology and various other biological specialties, where they are involved with design, chemical synthesis and development for market of pharmaceutical agents, or bio-active molecules (drugs).
